After finishing her Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota in 1996, Dr. Begert has been teaching English at Olympic College for 17 years. Informed by the fields of Feminist and Cultural Studies, her work investigates the links between language, power, and identity, with a focus on the discursive practices of marginalized groups.
